fastMRI+ Knee Annotations

fastMRI+ adds radiologist-created clinical pathology annotations to the fastMRI knee MRI collection. It provides pathology categories, study-level labels and bounding boxes identifying image regions that may contain clinically relevant findings.

Licence and access

The fastMRI+ annotation repository is distributed under the MIT License, but the underlying fastMRI images are not included. They must be obtained separately under the NYU fastMRI Dataset Sharing Agreement, which limits the source data to internal research or educational use.

Notes

The publication reports annotations for all 1,172 knee MRI volumes in the applicable fastMRI subset, including 16,154 bounding boxes and 13 study-level labels across 22 pathology categories. The repository contains annotations and conversion scripts, not the underlying MRI files. This record therefore overlaps with the NYU fastMRI Knee Dataset already in the inventory and should be treated as a derived annotation resource.

This record is a pointer. Licence and access terms are recorded as they stood on the verification date above; what binds you is the dataset's own licence text. Confirm at the source before use.
