2D-3D Hip Registration Gold-Standard Dataset

This dataset is a gold-standard benchmark for registration between three-dimensional hip CT data and two-dimensional fluoroscopic X-ray images. It contains calibrated images, fiducial locations and reference transformations for evaluating registration accuracy.

Notes

The dataset contains one CT volume and 19 real fluoroscopic images of a female hip phantom acquired at different orientations and X-ray voltages. The phantom includes the pelvis, proximal femurs and lumbar-spine segments. It also contains synthetic digitally reconstructed radiographs, calibration information, fiducial positions and gold-standard transformations. Because it is a phantom dataset rather than a patient cohort, num_subjects is null. The count of 20 represents the one CT volume plus 19 real fluoroscopic images and does not include the derived synthetic radiographs. Redistribution terms are not stated on the official distribution page and are recorded as not verified. Whether the bones inside the phantom are real dry human bone or synthetic replicas is not stated in any available source and would need to be confirmed with the authors.
